Passionate conservationist with 23 years of experience in biodiversity research and conservation, 14 of those years designing and leading science-driven conservation solutions. Background and experience include marine and terrestrial ecology, endangered species recovery, protected area management and combating the illegal wildlife trade. Born and grew up in South Africa, educated on the West Coast of the USA, and returned to Africa in 2010 to focus on her passion. Over the past decade she lived and worked in Central Mozambique focusing on healing of post-war ecosystems, endangered carnivore recovery, and human-wildlife coexistence. In 202I she co-launched a new environmental organization in Mozambique.
