From South Sudan currently works for the Africa Wildlife Foundation (AWF) as Director Conservation Program- Africa, with 22 years of professional experience in wildlife conservation with a very comprehensive understanding of critical issues facing Africa’s wildlife future.
She served in different leadership capacities at AWF including Director-Policy Engagement–Africa where she worked with continental and regional institutions such as the African Union and the Regional Economic Blocks by providing them with technical support and guidance on the development of wildlife conservation policies, strategies and programs in line with AU’s Agenda 2063.
Fiesta is a member of the East African Wildlife Society, Kenya Wetlands Forum- Kenya and a founding member of Conservation Alliance of Kenya.
