This is probably to do with a default setting on your computer. I’m trying to work out how to get an updating feed at the moment, but it’s driving me crazy and have support ticket open. In the meantime you can try to use the ‘export events’ link at the bottom of the calendar, save the file to your computer and use the import function on your Google Calendar.
I’ll try to provide a better update on Monday!
